OperaLancaster is proud to announce that April 16 through April 22, 2012 is OPERA WEEK. With a signed proclamation from Mayor Rick Gray, the whole city will be celebrating our 60th Anniversary Season along with us.
OperaLancaster has a rich 60-year history which began in 1952, and will celebrate its landmark season by offering a series of events (most of which are completely free!) all week long. Informative lectures, prizes, live performances, art sales, and a public party dubbed “Opera for the Common Man” are just some of the things everyone can enjoy.
